BERNICE JACKSON

Bernice Britt Jackson, 93, of Ashdown, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Jackson was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Rentiesville, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Freewill Missionary Baptist Church, Ashdown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jackson. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John L. and Lovelee Jackson of Reno, Nev.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Doris Jackson of Wilton, Ark., and Clara and John Jackson of Texarkana, Texas; one goddaughter, Cindy Burns of Ashdown; 17 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Community Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes CemeteryAshdown, under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />
