JAMES WAITES

ATLANTA, Texas—James L. Waites, 85, of Atlanta died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in Atlanta. <br />Mr. Waites was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Atlanta. H was retired from the United States Postal Service and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Una Waites. <br />Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, James LeRoy and Jenny Waites of Longview, Texas, and Jimmie L. Waites and Jerry W. Waites of Atlanta; three daughters and one son-in-law, Rebecca Waites and Patricia Waites of Atlanta and Linda and Frank Whitted of Cat Springs, Texas; one uncle, Harold Gunn of Mississippi; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Hanner Funeral Service.
