JIMMY MORRIS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Jimmy Glenn Morris, 60, of Gilmer, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in a Gilmer hospital. <br />Mr. Morris was born March 4, 1949, in Hughes Springs, Texas. He was formerly employed with Lone Star Steel, a pastor, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Jan of Gilmer; six daughters, Kristie Copeland of Tyler, Texas, Krystal Birdwell and Amber Cruz of Hughes Springs, Angie Lowery of Linden, Texas, Ellen Elledge of Gilmer and Amy Knight of Longview, Texas; three sons, Jonathan Morris of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Taylor Knight of Gilmer and Richard Knight of Liberty City, Texas; his mother, Ruby Morris of Hughes Springs; one brother, Bobby Morris of Longview, Texas; one sister, Linda Vanover of Hughes Springs; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hughes Springs Cemetery with Bob Money officiating. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
