JAMES JACK

James L. Jack, 94, of Trinity, Texas, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, in a Huntsville, Texas, hospital. <br />Mr. Jack was born Nov. 12, 1914, in McKeesport, Pa. He was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta F. “Berty” Jack; and one son, James Gary Jack. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Judith Lynne and Earnest Ronnie York of Trinity; two sisters, Alice Morgan of Pennsylvania and Margaret Coates of Phoenix; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Stacy M. and Randy Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jason and Rachel Taylor of Houston; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Chapelwood Mausoleum with John Hall officiating.
