GARY STEWART

Gary Lee “Chick” Stewart, 57, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Stewart was born May 13, 1952, in Texarkana. He was employed with Cooper Tire, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Lonoke Baptist Church, Texarkana. <br />Survivors include his wife, Sheridan Stewart of Texarkana; one daughter, Scherica Stewart of Houston; mother, Juanita Boone Banker of Texarkana; four sisters, Pam Shaw of Chicago, Greta Jackson of Atlanta, Ga., and Lillie Michelle Banker and Felicia “Lisa” Banker Holman of Pine Bluff, Ark. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lonoke Baptist Church with the Rev. C.K. Yarber officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />A wake with Omega rites will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com. <br /> <br />
