MAC JEFFUS

Mac Craddock Jeffus, 84, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Jeffus was born July 15, 1925, in the Halesboro Community in Red River County. He is retired from Red River Army Depot and member of Seekers Sunday School Class and First Baptist Church, Hooks. <br />Survivors include his wife, Joan Jeffus of Hooks; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Ricky Burris of Texarkana, Texas, and Teresa and Randy Humphreys of Longview, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Baylee Grimm of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Roy Ford and Joe Srygley officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />The family will be at their residence in Hooks. <br />Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Hooks, building fund, P.O.
