Alvie L. Thomason Looper, 77, of Fouke, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Thoma-son Looper was born March 16, 1932, in Fouke, Ark. She was employed by Walmart and a member of Rocky Mound Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her former husband, J.M. Thomason; and one son, Joseph Petty. <br />Survivors include her husband, Charles Looper; two sons, Glen Petty of Fouke and Floyd Thomason of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Ann Webb of Sugar Land, Texas, and Crystal McKnight of Atlantic Beach, N.C.; one sister, Hazel Stout of Fouke; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Corinth Church of Christ. <br />Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
