HELEN SHOULDERS

Helen Marie Shoulders, 69, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, in Texarkana. <br />Mrs. Shoulders was born April 19, 1940, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from BWI and a volunteer for the Salvation Army and Women’s Recovery Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Shoulders. <br />Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy Shoulders of Texarkana, Bart and Becky Shoulders of Euless, Texas, and Chris and Ginger Shoulders of Spring, Texas; one sister, Ann Payne of Gainesville, Fla.; one half-sister, Geneva Gabe of Texarkana; one half-brother, Donald Rankin of Benton, Ark.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. William V. Garner and Bart Shoulders officiating.
