EARL GILL

Earl V. “White Eyes” Gill, 61, of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Gill was born July 26, 1948, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist. <br />Survivors include his wife, Rita Gill of New Boston; one son, Earl V. Gill Jr., of Rockford, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Austin Yount Granberry of Hooks, Texas; his stepmother, Dorothy Gill of Texarkana; three brothers, Charles Gill, Clifford Gill and Clyde Gill of Texarkana; two sisters, Helen Gill and Carolyn Murphy of Texarkana; and four grandchildren. <br />Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. F.S. Barnes officiating. Burial will be under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
