GWEN WETZ

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Marie Harmon Wetz, 75, of Hooks, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Wetz was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Hooks. She was retired from Red River Army Depot, a former softball coach, a member of Eyes of Hooks Citizens and a Sunday school teacher and member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, Milton Wetz of Hooks; one daughter, Angie Duke of Hooks; three sisters, Kay Gaddis of Texarkana, Mary Dunham of Omaha, Neb., and Becky Harmon of San Antonio; six brothers, Kenneth Harmon of Sugarland, Texas, Ray Harmon of Round Rock, Texas, Wilbur Harmon of Austin, Richard Harmon of Broken Arrow, Okla., Steve Harmon of Laredo, Texas, and Clint Harmon; two grandsons; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Hardaway officiating.
