HOWELL POTTS

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Howell V. Potts, 80, of Avery, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Potts was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Clarksville. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a Presbyterian and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Caldwell Potts. <br />Survivors include one son, Charles Hodgson of Emory, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Ben Ray Storey of English Community, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jean and Perry Townes of Richwood, Texas, and Pauline Presley of DeKalb, Texas; three granddaughters, Sheri Hamm, Staci Moore and Lindsey McEwin; three great-granddaughters; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Jamison Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.clarksvillefuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
