MAGGIE JOHNSON

Maggie L. Johnson, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Johnson was born June 15, 1929, in Bradley, Ark. She was a retired cook and a choir member and member of Bright Star Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include two sons, Charlie Johnson of Texarkana and Dossie Johnson Jr. of Fort Mitchell, Ala.; one daughter, Erma Curry of Marshall, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ozan District Center with the Rev. Paul Hill officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
