ASHDOWN, Ark.—Jackie Dale Smart, 53, of Ashdown died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, in Texarkana, Texas. <br />Mr. Smart was born Aug. 24, 1956, in Lewisville, Ark. <br />Survivors include his wife, Lori Smart of Ashdown; one son, Christopher Hartzell of Tuscola, Texas; one daughter, Jamie Purlee of Abilene, Texas; his mother, Irene Clay Lott of Ashdown; one sister, Mary Ward of Ashdown; four grandchildren, Caleb, Lannah, Zayne and Nicholas; two nephews; and one niece. <br />Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Ashdown with the Rev. Butch Riddle officiating. Arrangements under direction of Madden Funeral Home. <br />The family will be at the home of Irene Lott, 360 S. Ellen, Ashdown, AR 71822. <br /> <br />
