MONZINE GARNER

Monzine Garner, 85, of Hope, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 in a Hope hospital. <br />Mrs. Garner was born Nov. 26, 1923 in Fouke, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Rebecca Lodge, Galveston, Texas, and Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Garner in 1982; one daughter, Barbara Lowe in 1987; and one son, Dannie Garner in 2007. <br />Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mavis and Wesley Conner of Friendswood, Texas, and Debra Selman of Benton, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Towannah Garner of Conroe, Texas; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane with the Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mound Cemetery. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com. <br /> <br />
