RUTH KENDALL

Ruth E. Kendall, 91, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in a New Boston, Texas, nursing home. <br />Mrs. Kendall was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Leary, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Lick, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kendall. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Margaret Smith of New Boston; two grandchildren, James Smith and Robin Thomas; one great-grandchild, Zoe Smith; one brother-in-law, Carlos Langford of New Boston; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Red Lick Cemetery with the Rev. Del Covington officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Memorials may be made to the Red Lick Cemetery Fund, 3303 N.
