FRANCES THOMAS

Frances Mildred Martin Thomas, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at home. <br />Mrs. Thomas was born Oct. 31, 1925, in Little Rock. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, Allan M. Thomas of Texarkana; one son, Allan Thomas of Texarkana; five daughters, Sherry Dozier of Franklin, Tenn., Sue Ellen Letterman of Texarkana, Theresa Bailey of San Francisco, Tina Thompson of Austin and Cynthia Williams of Kaneohe, Hawaii; one brother-in-law, Glenn V. Thomas of Meritt Island, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Mass services will be 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. <br />Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, No. 1 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Opportunities Inc., 6101 North State Line Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75503; Alzheimer’s Alliance, P.O.
