FREDDIE HOPKINS

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Freddie A. Hopkins, 71, of Cowlingsville, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, in a Texarkana hospital. <br />Mr. Hopkins was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a retired auditor with Truman Arnold Companies and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Blair; and one grandson, Jeremy Edwards. <br />Survivors include his wife, Vida Hopkins of Cowlingsville; two sons, Terry Blair and Anthony Hopkins of Cowlingsville; three daughters, Barbara Blair of Cowlingsville and Cindy Hopkins and Paula Hopkins of Texarkana; two sisters, Jean Turner of Texarkana and Margie Hopkins of Lockesburg, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at New Prospect Baptist Church with Larry Fry officiating. Burial will be in Wright’s Chapel Cemetery under direction of Latimer Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.latimerfuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
