MURFREESBORO, Ark.—Robert Eugene Ames, 79, of Bossier City, La., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Ames was born Oct. 5, 1929, in South Bend, Ind. He was a maintenance worker for Bossier Medical and a Marine veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Nina Ames of Bossier City; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Ames and Marvin Bennett of Bossier City; one granddaughter, Catherine Ross of Bossier City; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Murfreesboro Cemetery.
