Frankie Kennedy

Frankie Langley Kennedy, 87, of Atlanta, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, in Atlanta. <br />Mrs. Kennedy was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Waketa, Okla. She was Co-owner and operator of Kennedy’s Shoe Repair and Western Wear, a homemaker and member of the Atlanta Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. “Bill” Kennedy; one daughter, Sylvia K. Kennedy; and one great-grandson, Mathew S. Kennedy. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, George S. and Debbie Mebane Kennedy of Atlanta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Kennedy and Larry W. Terry of Magnolia, Ark., and Dr. F. Jane Kennedy and John W. Gleboff of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Trudie Langley Wright of Waxahachie, Texas, and Ruby Langley of Jefferson, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one friend, Nellie Presley. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Atlanta Church of Christ with Tom Hooten and Floyd Kirkland officiating.
