MARJORIE NIX

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Marjorie Kendall Nix, 99, formerly of Horatio, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, in Lewisville, Texas. <br />Mrs. Nix was born Oct. 8, 1909, in Ponoka, Alberta Canada. She was a retired legal secretary and member of First Baptist Church of De Queen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Nix. <br />Survivors include one son, Mike Nix of Garland, Texas; two granddaughters, Michele Preston and Charla Morris; four great-grandchildren, Bailey and Macie Preston, Presley and Kal Morris. <br />Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Horatio Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.wilkersonfuneralhomes.com.
