RAYMOND BASCOM

Raymond Ray Bascom, 88, of Springdale, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Bascom was born Dec. 5, 1920, in Waurika, Okla. He was retired from United States Postal Service and an Army and Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Lois Campbell Bascom; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Fran Bascom of Sulphur Springs, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Joe McCourt of Prairie Grove, Ark., Barbara and Phil Warlick of Raleigh, N.C., and Debra Ray Kleppe of Libby, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice; or Arkansas Children’s Hospital. <br />Online registration is at www.westfieldchapel.com. <br /> <br />
