SALLIE FIELDS

Sallie Mae Fields, 96, of Hooks, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, in a New Boston, Texas, nursing home. <br />Mrs. Fields was born May 7, 1913, in Clarksville, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Texas Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Mack Fields; three sons, Herman Roy Fields, Edward L. Fields and Willie L. Fields; and one grandson, Ronnie Jones. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Linda Jones of New Boston; four sons and daughters-in-law, Archie J. and Grady Fields and Homer L. and Carol Fields of Hots Springs Village, Ark., Robert L. and Sue Fields of Hooks and Floyd and Jean Fields of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Kirby Smith of Chapel Hill, TN; 17 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Dallas Morris officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Texas Church of God Prophecy, 502 N.
