JOHN FUNDERBURK

NASHVILLE, Ark.—John Homer Funderburk, 91, of California died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, in Manteca, Calif. <br />Mr. Funderburk was born April 29, 1918, in Keota, Okla. He was owner of Fundy’s Drive-In and a member of Carpenters Union Local 25 and Northside Church of Christ, where he was a church greeter. He was preceded in death by his wives, Geneva Tommie Funderburk and Lorene Funderburk. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Joy Funderburk of Manteca; one son and daughter-in-law, Deborah and Gary Widener; five grandchildren, Latitia Wells, John Wells, Gayle Wells, Marc Widener and Jenn Widener; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Sunshine Cemetery.
