WILESE HICKS

ATLANTA, Texas—Wilese Hicks, 88, of Atlanta died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, in Atlanta. <br />Mrs. Hicks was born July 4, 1921, in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was retired from Southwestern Bell and a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.O. Spruce and W.E. Hicks. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sonya Hicks of Atlanta; one sister, Claudene Bass of Marietta, Ga.; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Alan and Tish Hicks of Wake Village, Texas, and Byron and Sheri Hicks of Austin; two great-grandsons, Robert D. Hicks of Bivins, Texas, and Samuel J. Hicks of Austin; and one stepgreat-grandson, Alex Jones of Wake Village. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cornett Cemetery, Naples, Texas, with the Rev. Dee Cruson officiating.
