JEFFREY ALLISON

LINDEN, Texas—Jeffrey Lynn Allison, 67, of Carthage, Texas, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at his home. <br />Mr. Allison was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Brawley, Calif. He was a Cass County deputy sheriff and a security guard for Thiokol Chemical Company, a member of First Baptist Church, Clayton, Texas, and a Vietnam War Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Rosalee Jackson Allison of Carthage; three daughters and one son-in-law, Christy Truesdale and Ember Allison of Carthage and Jennifer and Hiram Downing of Gary, Texas; three grandchildren, Robert Austin, Brooke Austin and Heather Downing; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Center Grove Cemetery, Linden, Texas, with Mike Taylor officiating.
