FRED COLSTON JR.


NASHVILLE, Ark.—Fred M. Colston Jr., 80, of Nashville died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in Nashville.

Mr. Colston was born March 2, 1932, in Elizabeth City, N.C. He was retired from John Deere; a 33rd Degree Mason, past Master at Laredo Masonic Lodge, Laredo, Texas, past ambassador for Shriner’s, past Patron of the Eastern Star, charter member of Nashville Rural Water Association; a Baptist; and Korean War Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Ross Colston.

Survivors include his wife, Carlyn Colston of Nashville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Becky Colston and Chip and Betsy Colston of Nashville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cherie and Jimmy Moses of Nashville and Fredalyn Colston of Germany; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 5 p.m. today at Nashville Funeral Home with Jerry Hill officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
