ROBERT GREEN

HOPE, Ark.—Robert James Green, 70, of Hope died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in Texarkana.

Mr. Green was born May 30, 1942, in Hope. He was retired from Meyers Bakery, a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Patmos, Ark., and attended Greater Heights Ministries, Texarkana He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Mitchell, in 2003.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Wendi and Donald Vaughn of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kim Green of Dallas; five grandchildren; one niece, Yvonne Haney of Nashville, Tenn.; one nephew, Russell Haney of Nashville; one special friend, Bobbie McGill; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Lonoke Baptist Church, Hope. Burial will be in Giles Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
