JACK GILES

Jack E. Giles, 69, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Giles was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from International Paper, Domino, Texas, and a member of IBEW Local 301, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Loners on Wheels, the National Rifle Association and Liberty Eylau Baptist Church.

Survivors include include one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gene McGee of Texarkana; one nephew, Jimmie McGee of Levelland, Texas; and three special friends, Donna Springer of Maud, Texas, and Jimmy and Marvana Nelson of Texarkana.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
