MOZELLE ALLEN

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Mozelle Allen, 86, of Hughes Springs died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.

Mrs. Allen was born July 10, 1928. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George W. Alford and W. O. “Dub” Allen; and one daughter, Phyllis Diane Allen Faulkner.

Survivors include five daughters, Jackqueline Alford Shepperd, Rebecca Alford Hendon, Bonnie Alford Hampton, Patti Alford Martin and Pamela Alford McCain; three sons, Norman Allen, Johnny Allen and Jerry Allen; two brothers, H. W. “Snake” Watkins and Theotis Harding Watkins; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Avinger Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
