ERISS McKINNEY

IDABEL, Okla.—Eriss McKinney, 84, of Idabel died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Paris, Texas.

Mrs. McKinney was born Sept. 10, 1930, in Corinne, Okla. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Suzanna Shomo; and two sons, Sammy McKinney and Gerald McKinney.

Survivors include four sons, Silas McKinney Jr. of Broken Bow, Okla., Gwen Dale McKinney of Paris, Texas, Cyrus McKinney of Oklahoma City and Gary Johnson of Idabel; two daughters, Gaye Dawn Shomo of Broken Bow and Marian Shomo of Idabel; two brothers, Raymond Brandy of Valliant, Okla., and DeRoy McKinney of Haworth, Okla.; two sisters, Hannah Blackowl and Ernestine Courson of Idabel; 20 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at White Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Shomo officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery.
