DE QUEEN, Ark.—Billy Ann Parker Smith-Buck, 79, of Arkadelphia, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, in De Queen. Mrs. Smith-Buck was born Jan. 7, 1936, in Lindale, Texas. She was retired from the De Queen School District, a homemaker, attended Curtis Assembly of God Church, Curtis, Ark., and a member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Grannis, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lenard Smith Sr. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Buck of Arkadelphia; one son and daughter-in-law, Walter Jr. and Bonita Smith of De Queen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jeff Frachiseur of Dierks, Ark., and Ange and Gary Coulter of Lockesburg, Ark.; one brother, Boots Parker of Salem, Ore.; one sister, Tommie Easley of Cleburne, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Dennis Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Holly Grove Cemetery under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
