DENNIS BODDIE

Dennis Boddie, 56, of Shreveport, La., died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, in Shreveport. Mr. Boddie was born Oct. 31, 1959, in Washington, D.C. He was employed in radio broadcasting. Survivors include his mother, Retha Boddie of Bloomington, Ill.; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Darryl and Jennifer Boddie of Bloomington, David Boddie of Fayetteville, Ark., and Dale Boddie of Doddridge, Ark.; two half sisters, Patricia Wilkins of Norfolk, Va., and Arvetta O'Niell of Las Vegas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Shelby Smith and the Rev. David E. Boone Sr. officiating under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
