FORDYCE, Ark.—Mattie Marie Earnest Cosby, 89, of Hampton, Ark., died Monday, June 29, 2015 in a Pine Bluff, Ark., hospital.

Mrs. Cosby was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Tinsman, Ark. She was a homemaker and Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Cosby and one daughter, Levenda Cosby.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mona Cosby of Hampton; one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and David Wages of Hampton; one brother, Terrell Earnest of Fordyce; one sister, Hazel Hand of Hampton; one granddaughter, Lindsey Wages of Hampton; and one special friend, Addie Landon.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home, Fordyce, with the Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. Burial will be in Earnest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
