NASHVILLE, Ark.—Reuben Ray Reed, 82, of Nashville died Thursday, July 28, 2016, in Nashville. Mr. Reed was born July 14, 1934, in Sardis, Ark. He was a a manager with West Department Store, a maintenance worker and school bus driver for Nashville Public Schools, and a men's Bible class treasurer and administrative board member of First United Methodist Church, Nashville. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Reed DeWitt. Survivors include his wife, JoJo Owens Reed of Nashville; one son-in-law, Larry DeWitt of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, Troy Reed of Wheaton, Ill.; one granddaughter, Madison Rae DeWitt of Hot Springs, Ark.; one stepgranddaughter, Kameron DeWitt of Fort Smith, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Gia DeWitt of Fort Smith, Ark.; and five nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with James Harris officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery under direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
