MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Carylon Ann "Southern Girl" Lewis, 61, of Stamps, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at a Little Rock hospital. Mrs. Lewis was born Oct. 25, 1955, in Waldo, Ark. She was a seamstress with Alan White, Stamps, and a member of True Worship Church, Waldo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Lewis. Survivors include two children, Shawntrease "Bunny" Johnson and Robert "Bug" Johnson; her father, Eugene Howell of Dallas; two sisters, Joyce Turner of Waldo and Charmyne Howell-Kabbara of Dallas; six brothers, Fredrick Kelley, Donald "Greg" Murray, Coronet Howell and Art Howell of Dallas and Wallace "Ray" Turner and Scott "Amp" Howell of Waldo; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Saturday at Columbia District Auditorium with Joyce Easter officiating. Cremation is under direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
