HERMAN HOLLIDAY

HOPE, Ark.—Herman Holliday, 88, of Hope died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at his home. Mr. Holliday was born July 8, 1929, in Decatur, Ala. He was a retired mechanic, a member of First Assembly of God Church and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linnie Mae East Holliday; and one son, William Kenneth Holliday. Survivors include four sons, Kevin Dewayne Holliday and Larry McWilliams of Hope, Ronald McWilliams of Pittsburg, Texas, and Jerry McWilliams of Deann, Ark.; three daughters, Donna Davidson of Arlington, Texas, and Gwen Jordan and Wanda Percy of Paris, Texas; two brothers, John Holliday of Carrollton, Texas, and Robert Holliday of Redkey, Ind.; one sister, Mary Hodge of Hope; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Kenny Martin officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope.
