NORMAN MITCHELL

Norman H. Mitchell, 68, of Fouke, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at his home. Mr. Mitchell was born Dec. 26, 1948, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a retired machinist and business owner and a member of Fairland Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife, Gale Burns Mitchell of Fouke; one son, Dana Mitchell of Fouke; two daughters, Melissa Shirley of Texarkana, Texas, and Tammy Mitchell of Waxahachie, Texas; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Philip and Paula Mitchell of Fouke and Dewayne and Cindy Mitchell of Doddridge, Ark.; one sister, Barbara Mitchell of Fouke; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were Aug. 29 at Fairland Holiness Church with the Rev. Lloyd Shuecraft officiating. Burial was in Fairland Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
