Linda Wardlaw

Mrs. Linda McFerrin Wardlaw, age 71, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at her home. She was surrounded by her family. Mrs. Wardlaw was born November 24, 1946, in Texarkana, Arkansas, and had been a lifetime resident of Texarkana. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was the retired Manager from the Federal Employees Credit Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny (Butch) Wardlaw; her mother, Evelyn McFerrin; her father, R. L. McFerrin; one sister, Jeanette Black; and one brother, Bob McFerrin. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh Anne and Dennis Jeans of Texarkana, Arkansas, Lisa and Kevin Myers of Texarkana, Texas, and Laurie and Marshall Tullos of Texarkana, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Casey Jeans, Kristen Tullos, Morgan Myers, Jonathan Davis, Matthew Tullos, and Olivia Tullos; seven great-grandchildren, Savannah, Samantha, Sasha, Sarina, and Stella Rawlinson, and Peyton and Taylor Tullos; one sister, Dorothy Cody of Arlington, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P. M. Friday at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday.
