De QUEEN, Ark.—Thurman "Red" Pennington, 75, of Lockesburg, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in an Ashdown, Ark., hospital. Mr. Pennington was born Feb. 15, 1942, in Lone Oak community, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Mary Abernathy Pennington; two daughters, Mary Ruth Pennington of Elkins, Ark., and Sarah Ann Pennington of Fayetteville, Ark.; one sister, Marvarine Wright of Broken Bow, Okla.; three grandchildren, Stassney Brown of Nacogdoches, Texas, Aaron Brown of Sugarland, Texas, and Aubrey Pennington of Fayetteville, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Millwee Cemetery, Horatio, Ark. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
