RANDY SMITH

Randy Lynn Smith, 62, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. The Rev. Smith was born March 24, 1956, in Gurdon, Ark. He was an ordained minister with Pentecostal Church of God and lead pastor of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Rascoe Smith; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jackie Smith; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul Douglas and Barbara Smith; three sisters, Betty Jones, Vicky Beard and Barbara Myers; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church with the Revs. John Paris, Phil Redding and Don Brankel officiating. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Rose Hedge Cemetery, Gurdon, under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
