Wilma Matchett

HOPE, Ark.—Wilma Matchett, 87, of Hope died Friday, March 29, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Matchell was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Grandfield, Okla. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a former member of Hempstead County Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Matchett. Survivors include her husband, Thoams Matchett of Hope; one son, Michael Matchett; two daughters, Linda Miller and Judy Legg; one brother and sister- in-law, Roger Clark and Janie Taylor; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pat and Terry Brumfield and Lena Farley; 13 grand-children; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Mike Puckett officiating. Private burial will follow. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
