JOYCE ROBERTS

Joyce Evelyn Strickland Roberts, age 78, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019, at her home in Redwater, Texas. Mrs. Roberts was born July 31, 1941, in Redwater, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Roberts; her parents, Earl and Irene Strickland and a brother, John Strickland. Survivors include her four children and their spouses, Bill and Mary Ann Roberts, Wendy and Leon Satterfield, and Richard and Vickie Law, all from Redwater and Jamie and Rosie Roberts from Linden, Texas; one step-son and his wife, Roger and Linda Roberts of Texarkana, Texas; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, December 2, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Carl Teel officiating. Burial will follow in Rathburn Family Cemetery, Redwater.
