Rosemary Mitchell

Mrs. Rosemary Jo Mitchell, age 97, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, November 29, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Mitchell was born February 26, 1922, in Caney, Kansas, and had lived most of her life in Texarkana. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God and was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marvin Mitchell, and a son, Gary Wayne Mitchell. Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, Rev. Donny and Bobbie Sue Mitchell of Cuba, Missouri, Danny and Dell Mitchell of Fouke, Arkansas, and Mary Mitchell of Brownsville, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 A. M. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Brian McDonald and Frank Kirvin officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 PM until 6 PM Sunday.
