AUGUSTINE RIGGS

Augustine Ray Riggs, age 70, of Conway, Arkansas, died Friday October 11, 2019 in a Little Rock Hospital. She was born February 9, 1949 in Texarkana, Arkansas. "Dollie" was a longtime resident of Wake Village before moving to Conway. She was retired from both the Union Pacific Railroad and Bowie County, where she found her passion for politics that she never lost. She is preceded in death by the love of her life William "Buster" Riggs and her cherished son Kerry Riggs. One brother, Rex Ray and her parents, August and Bessie Ray. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-laws, Kourtney and Bill Goodwin of Greenbrier, Kelley and Mike Nichols of Little Rock and six special grandchildren, Grant Goodwin, Jackson Goodwin, Emma Nichols, Lila Nichols, August Riggs and Ryan Riggs. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Brazile presiding.
