Funeral service for Mr. Smith will be 12 Noon Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at Hendrix Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery Queen City TX . Family hour will be Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 from 6p to 7p at Hendrix Temple. Mr. Smith "Shorty" owned and operated Shorty's Mechanic shop in Atlanta, Texas. He is survived by loving wife Nina Childs Smith, one daughter, Wendy Shamida; 3 brothers: Bobby Smith, Elsie Smith and Robert Crocker, 2 Step-sons, 3 Step-daughters, 18 grandchildren.
