KENNETH WRIGHT

Kenneth W. Wright, age 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at his residence. Mr. Wright was born August 1, 1933, to parents Homer and Evelyn Wright. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Mr. Wright was retired from TxDot and was a member of First Baptist Church Texarkana. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Janelle Wright; one son, Glen Wright; two daughters, Sandra Talton and husband, Hal, and Karen Wright; one sister, Joyce Stone; along with many nieces and nephews. Due to the current health situation, services are limited to a private family gathering. They will be held at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Sims and Jerry Monholland officiating. For those who wish to come by the funeral home, the body will lie in state at Chapelwood Funeral Home from 10:00 AM 5:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
