ORIS KING

Mr. Oris King 80 of Kildare, Texas was born August 2, 1939. Transitioned to glory April 22, 2020 @ Christus St. Michael of Atlanta, Texas. Mr. King was retired from International Paper Domino, Texas after 39 years of service. He attended St. John Baptist Church until his health failed. He served as a faithful member, president of the usher board. Church Trustee, and a proud member of the kitchen committee. The great and wonderful memories of Mr. King's life will be forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife Shirley, his sons Kevin King of St. Joseph Mo. And Vincent King of Pasco, Washington. Seven grandchildren and one- great-grandchild. Two sisters, Marilyn King of Atlanta, Ga. And Annie L. (Jerry) Miles of Kildare, Texas. A host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Graveside service will be Saturday May 2, 2020 11AM @ Galloway Cemetery Kildare, Texas, Rev. Byron Sparks, Officiant. Visitation: Friday May 1, 2020 6p-8-p @ Linden Funeral Home, 1411 Nelson St., Linden, Texas. Attendees must wear a self-provided face mask and pass a temperature screening to enter the funeral home during visitation.
