BETTE BIBBY

Bette Davis Bibby, born Dorothy Elizabeth Davis, died July 20, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born December 24, 1946 in Texarkana to KB and Dorothy Ennis Davis. She is survived by her husband, Michael, son Christopher and his wife Tiffany, daughter Angela, brother Ken Davis and his wife Mary Anna, and grandchildren Johnathan Orbeck, Matthew Swayze, Grace and Eion Bibby, plus several nephews. She married Michael on June 8, 1968 in Texarkana, AR. She received her BA in Early Childhood Education at the University of Arkansas in 1969 and worked as an educator for many years. She loved Arkansas Razorback football, travel, bridge, canasta and family. She was a long time member of the Christian Explorers class at Asbury United Methodist. Memorial service at Asbury UMC chapel, 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK, 74122, 10 AM, Tuesday, August 3rd. Reception following. The family requests only vaccinated persons attend the service and requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the Asbury Music Ministry or the Razorback Foundation, 1295 S. Razorback Rd., Suite A, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
