Helen Leslie

Helen Leslie, age 96, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 30, 2021 in a local adult care facility. Helen was born February 11, 1925, in Douglassville, Texas, to Bert and Alice Duke. She was a homemaker; a member of Life Tabernacle and was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Leslie; son, Wayne Leslie; her parents and siblings. She is survived by her son, James Leslie and wife Sylvia of Georgetown, Texas; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, August 2, 2021, at Life Tabernacle, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Pastor Tony Lee officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in O'Farrell Cemetery. Guest registry is available at www.hannerfuneralservice.com.
