Jimmy Dale Murry

Jimmy Dale Murry, age 77, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Queen City, Texas. He was born on February 5, 1944 in Bowie County, Texas to Rev. Hullett and Mary Murry. Jimmy was retired from the National Guard and Cooper Tire and Rubber Co. and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Sue Duncan and Maggie Daily. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy Murry of Queen City, Texas; two daughters, Kelly Murry of Atlanta, Texas, Margo Hanson and husband Mark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Rev. Gene Murry and wife Betty of Nash, Texas, Henry Murry of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of other family and friends. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 1, 2021, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, at Salem Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Raines officiating.
